The Winter can seem endless when you are a soccer player, but there are several ways to stay sharp during the cold season. At FC Spokane we encourage all of our teams and players to keep the ball rolling and take advantage of the indoor facilities we are affiliated with:
The Spokane Soccer Center offers indoor leagues for youth teams from November thru March, with accommodations for High School teams to get done before tryouts .
Indoor soccer is played on a smaller field with walls keeping the ball in bounce at all times. This creates a fast paced game, which forces the players to focus on precision and foot skills. It's usually a high scoring game of great entertainment value for players and spectators alike.
The Northwest Training Academy offers individual players extra training beyond their club team. All programs are based around short sided, high intensity games. This will force the player's ability to think quickly and quickly develop skills and technique. In addition to this, male and female players from a different age groups come together to learn from each other in a fun and dedicated environment.
