December 10, 2014 - Stoke City FC of the English Premiership has agreed a partnership with the Washington based soccer organization, FC Spokane.
FC Spokane coaches and players will have the opportunity to work with the Academy coaches of Stoke City in both North America and England, offering an insight into the player development program of one of the top English professional teams. The coaches are invited to come to England and study the Stoke City player development program.
Part of the agreement will see the Stoke City North American Academy hosting a series of Elite Player ID Events with FC Spokane during the 2014/2015 seasons. Stock City will send their Academy staff over to work with the players and coaches at these events. The best male and female players at these events will be invited to go to the Stoke City National Camp. From this camp the very best will be invited to travel to Stoke City and train with Academy.
FC Spokane is a youth soccer club serving the Spokane, Washington soccer community for both boys and girls ages 4 - 18. Their goal is to create an environment for all players regardless of their skill level or commitment. It is their belief that the players will not only develop the appropriate soccer techniques but also develops the necessary skills to be positive members of the community. In its third year of servicing the community they have 600 members across the Spokane county and are committed to ensuring a positive experience for all players and their families.

We are excited to be the first club in Spokane to partner up with a renowned professional soccer club from England."
December 17, 2014 - Congratulations to our G00 Black team for defeating Kitsap Pumas G00 with a score of 1-0 and bringing home the PSPL GU14 Classic 1 Championship. The team coached by Shea Swoboda and Mike Terris finished first in Flight A of the Classic 1 league having lost only one game during the fall season. This season’s performance earned them a promotion into the PSPL Washington State Premier League next season.
Free Training for SpVJSA Recreational Players
FC Spokane in partnership with SPVJSA would like to invite all SPVJSA recreational players to attend our FREE Winter Youth Development Academy sessions.
This is a fantastic way to get ready for the upcoming SPVJSA recreation season. In the Fall we had over 100 players regularly attend these sessions and we hope to see as many of you as possible attend again this winter.
The sessions will be run by our professional coaching staff under the supervision of our Directors of Coaching. Each session will provide players with the opportunity to learn in a fun and safe environment and best of all there is no cost for SPVJSA players.
FC Spokane and SPVJSA hope to continue to build on our strong relationship and provide quality supplemental opportunities to all SPVJSA recreational players while creating pathways for players and coaches to develop beyond recreational soccer.

PSPL Academy Selects Top Players From FC Spokane
March 10, 2014 - 11 FC Spokane players were selected to play on the Puget Sound Premier League Academy teams for their respective age groups. The Puget Sound Premier League offers opportunities for top players to improve their technical ability and boost their exposure to college and national team scouts! Player pools are selected for U12 to U18 boys and girls teams at tryouts in October, December and January. The top players are selected to represent the league and the state of Washington in US Club Soccer PDP regional events and in national showcase tournaments. Players train monthly, twice-monthly or weekly depending on the program and the competitive cycle.
